I made my iMovie today. I think that it is a great program to use. It was fairly easy. I thought that it was easy to organize my photos using iPhotos albums. I still had to move a picture or two, but that was really easy. I liked the Ken Burns effect, but I can see how it could easily be over-used.
I organized my photos into an acronym using the word photos - people, home, ornery, trouble, other, and school (those taken specifically for a class project). The acronym is kind of corny, but it was fun. Many of the pictures could have fallen into 2 or more different categories.
I can see using this program or one similar to this in my recent future. I would love to put my boys pictures to music and send them to family out of state. I may also make Christmas presents for family.

I organized my images using the acronym Photos (people, home, ornery, trouble, other, and school). I did this because I thought that it was clever (my husband actually came up with the idea).
ReplyDeleteI tried to choose images to fit my categories, but also images that I felt were some of my best taken during the time of this course. I think that these images tell people that I enjoy taking pictures of family and of simple objects. Many of my pictures are of nature or of people in nature.
The audio track was fun to add. It was easy. The only challenge that I had was fading at the end.
iMovie would be great to use in the classroom to create a movie of a special event like a field trip or special school day. It would also be nice to use to create an end of the year slide show.
I love the way your organized your photographs using an acronym! How creative!
